Learning practical life skills is key to building confidence, independence, and self-sufficiency. Our Life Skills Sessions provide hands-on learning in essential areas such as cooking, woodworking, and other valuable everyday skills. These sessions are designed to be engaging, accessible, and supportive, helping individuals of all abilities develop useful skills for daily life.

What We Do

Our sessions cover a range of practical skills to encourage independence and personal growth. Activities include:

  • Cooking & Meal Preparation – Learning to plan, prepare, and cook simple, nutritious meals to promote healthy eating and self-sufficiency.
  • Woodworking & DIY Skills – Hands-on projects that teach practical skills such as using tools safely, repairing items, and creating functional or decorative pieces.
  • Household Management – Covering essential everyday tasks such as budgeting, cleaning, laundry, and home organisation.
  • Personal Development – Building problem-solving skills, confidence, and the ability to take on everyday challenges with greater independence.

Who Can Join?

Our Life Skills Sessions are open to individuals of all abilities who want to develop practical skills in a supportive and engaging environment. Whether learning to cook for the first time, gaining confidence with DIY tasks, or improving daily living skills, these sessions are designed to be enjoyable and informative.
